Do you think juveniles should be tried as adults if they commit especially bad crimes.? I do believe that juvenile should be trial and punished as adults, if they were in the right mind. also depending on what the crime is because they just might be acting out towards something, for instance stealing may be considered different between a juvenile and an adult. If the juvenile does commit a bad rime then yes they should be able to be punished as adults.

In the article "Kids are Kids...." argues that of a kid does a minor crime like steal then they are just acting as kids, and kids will be kids nothing major and so therfore aren't punished because they deem that as just a misundersyaing. But when a kid commits q major crime then they should be trialeds as adults. Where as in the other article they talk about going forth the execution of young killers.

I believe that to a certain extent, children or juvenile should be punished as adults. To determine if they should be charged as adults, they should do drastic measures like figuring out if they were in their right state of mind. If they are in the right state of mind then yes they should be charged as adults, and if not they should help them fix the problems by sending them to a mental institute to get help.

Characteristics of a Child, Juvenile, and Adults

Characteristics that differentiate a child, juvenile, and adult are various from each other. When you are a child your characteristics are happy, playful, and carefree. But the characteristics for juvenile is completely different, the characteristics are rebellious, peer pressured, and making irresponsible decisions. In adults the characteristics are serious, mature, able to make reasonable decisions. Overall, you go from carefree, to making irresponsible decisions because you don't know what right and wrong is, to being more serious about life.
